This installation features a modified hard drive suspended within a black aluminium enclosure. The hard drive is held in place by a metal rod attached to its back, and the front of the enclosure is covered by a glass panel. The hard drive itself contains a stripe of addressable LEDs which create a breathing movement through their changing brightness. These lights also flicker as the hard drive's actuator arm glitches and the platter moves erratically. The resulting light pattern is then mirrored by the LEDs in the 50-meter-long corridor in front of the enclosure.
LOOPER V3
LOOPER V3 is the third iteration of a 16 mm looper compatible with Eiki NT, SSL, SNT and Hokushin SC-10 projectors. Its design allows easy installation without additional tools. It takes up to 10 minutes of film for continuous projection. Ideal for exhibitions and performances.
